Foreign Teacher Commitment Letter
为较好履行教师职责，根据中国法律法规及教师职业准则、学校有关规定，本人郑重做出以下承诺：
In accordance with the laws of the People’s Republic of China, the Code of Conduct for teachers as well as relevant rules of the college, I hereby make the following commitments to conscientiously fulfill the responsibilities as a teacher:
1. 遵守中国法律法规和学校有关管理规定。
1. Abide by the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China as well as the administration rules of the college.
2. 不在任何场所以任何方式散布攻击中国政府和政策法令的言论或干涉中国内政。
2. Never spread the speeches attacking the Chinese government, policies and decrees, or interfere in China's internal affairs.
3. 在校园里不以任何方式进行传教活动或宗教宣传，不以教学名义在学生中散发宗教书籍或材料。
3. Never carry out missionary or religious propaganda in any way, or distribute religious books or materials to students in the name of teaching.
4. 服从学校分配的教学任务和课程安排，并按期完成工作任务，保证教学工作质量。
4. Implement the teaching tasks and curriculum assigned by the college, finish the work and tasks on schedule, and guarantee the teaching quality.
5. 自觉维护学校正常教学秩序，严格执行教学计划，认真备课，不随意调课缺课，努力提高教育教学技能。
5. Voluntarily maintain normal order of the college, strictly implement the teaching plans, and carefully prepare the lessons. Never arbitrarily adjust the lessons or be absent from the class. Make every effort to improve the teaching skills.
6. 关爱学生，尊重学生人格和个性，不谩骂、侮辱学生，不体罚及变相体罚学生。
6. Care for the students and respect their personalities and characters. Never abuse and insult the students, or make corporal punishments.
7. 仪表举止得体大方，衣着整洁美观符合职业形象，不在公共场所吸烟。
7. Dress properly and behave decently. Never wear the clothes inconsistent with the identity of a teacher, or smoke in public spaces.
8. 严格维护课堂教学秩序，不在上课期间接打手机，不在课堂上做与教学无关的事。
8. Strictly maintain the classroom order. Never make or answer calls, or engage in the affairs irrelevant to education while teaching in the classroom.
9. 崇尚科学、作风正派，不传播低级庸俗的思想文化。
9. Advocate science, and act in a decent style. Never spread vulgar ideas and cultures.
10. 廉洁诚信，不收受学生赠送的现金、礼券、贵重物品。在组织学生的各类考试中，不弄虚作假、徇私舞弊。
10. Adhere to integrity and honesty, and never accept cash and valuables from students. Never make fraud and favoritism in examinations.
11. 不在教室和工作场所内大声喧哗，嬉笑吵闹。
11. Never speak or laugh loudly in the classroom and office.
12. 办公室物品按要求摆放整齐，室内保持清洁。
12. Place the office supplies neatly, and keep the indoor spaces clean.
